Aaronica (she/her) is a COPE Certified Perinatal Educator and Doula. She started her birth work journey 10 years ago by supporting her cousins during their births and now focuses on working with other birth workers, community members, and service providers in supporting people experiencing homelessness who also have opioid use disorders. In addition to her work as an educator with Birth Revolution, she also serves single parenting students who are in the process of obtaining an undergraduate degree. Her focus is to help them identify and remove barriers to their education in hopes of ending poverty two generations at a time.
